THE IMPORTANCE OF AGRICULTURE AND FARMING IN AFGHANISTAN
Agriculture can be defined as the production, processing, marketing and distribution of crops and livestock products, this being a modern concept since previously it was conceived as an exclusive term for vegetable crops. Agriculture plays a crucial role in a country's economy; it is the backbone of our economic system; not only provides food and raw materials, but also employment opportunities to a significant amount of population.
